INFO — PIP POP DESIGNS

I am a self taught illustrator, and typically like to use bold shapes with a vivid colour palette.

I first started illustrating a few months after the birth of my first son. I was looking online for a whale print for his room, I couldn’t find one I really liked so decided instead of buying one I’d try to design one...

As a Paediatric Nurse by background I had no idea how to use any illustration software. After many hours of practice, a lot of coffee and biscuits I eventually created a whale ready to be hung on his bedroom wall. We called him 'Walter'

After showing Walter to some friends a few suggested I designed more animals and sold them as cards or prints, and so ‘pip pop designs’ was born. It’s taken a few years to build a portfolio, but I hope you like what you see.

I mainly sell my cards and prints online, they’re also available in select shops and local galleries.
